The recommended tension is 120 kg, for the higher tension side. On the opposite side, tension should be enough to balance the wheel, hence minimum value should be 60 kg.
The higher tension side is:
– The disc side, on front disc wheels;
– The drive side, on rear wheels.
On front wheels with rim brakes, both sides have the same tension value, except on non-symmetrical rims, on which there will be a slight difference.
On motor hub wheels, the maximum tension value is 150 kg. However, the rims on this type of wheel should be able to endure this load.

The correct pressure to be applied should always respect the minimum and maximum values advised by the tyre producer.
Besides, it is directly related to the rider’s intended use, weight and goals. So, the adequate pressure depends on the rider’s handling, the type of ground and track, as well as the comfort he’s looking for.
Please note that, the higher the pressure, the more protected the rim will be, and the less friction will there be with the floor/ track, thus, allowing a smoother rolling. On the other hand, a lower pressure gives a better grip, ideal for irregular ground, however, with more cycling resistance and lower absorption of impacts from the tyre.

On Tubeless Ready rims, it is usual to have the valve hole centred on the profile, and so it is located on a profile edge so that the user can choose which system to use (tubeless or inner tube). Despite this situation, it will never be a problem to use Tubeless tires.
The important is to guarantee that the valve is well-sealed on the tire! (See the previous topic).
To install a tubeless tire on a wheel, whose rim is Tubeless Ready, first you’ll need an appropriate rim tape (it’s like an adhesive tape but with specific properties for this kind of rims) and sealant liquid.
Procedure:
1. Carefully clean the rim where the rim tape will be applied and remove possible imperfections from the punching holes, such as aluminium burrs;
2. Choose an appropriate rim tape, according to the internal width of the rim’s profile (for instance, should it be a 622x30TC profile, the rim tape should be approximately 32mm);
3. Apply the rim tape all around it, stretching it through a turn and a half, counting from 90º from the valve hole;
4. Remove any air bubbles which may have formed during the previous step;
5. Use the sharp tip of the Tubeless valve to pierce the rim tape and maintain it steady on the rim;
6. Assemble the Tubeless tire on the wheel and inflate it, until its walls are perfectly fit on the rim’s walls. Usually, a snap sound will be heard before it.
7. Remove the inflated air and, afterwards, the valve core (use the specific tool which is supplied with the Tubeless valve);
8. Pour the sealant through the valve (quantity recommended by the producer, according to the intended usage) and put its core back on;
9. Inflate the tire slightly;
10. Shake the wheel vigorously in all directions for some time to widely spread the sealant.
11. Finally, let the sealant dry for a couple of hours.
All Blackjack models are Tubeless Ready compatible.
Sometimes, the tire can be too tight to the rim, which makes its removal/ exchange process very difficult. To remove the tire, please follow this procedure:
1. Push the tire walls (from both sides) to the central area of the rim profile, so, to the concave part;
2. Then, using two tire changing tools, put one between the tire and the rim and fix it to a spoke;
3. Put also the second tire changing tool between the tire and the rim and go all around it until the tire is set free;
Should it be too difficult to move the tool around the rim, we recommend the use of dishwasher detergent or soap, as lubricant.
