Testing Capabilities
At Blackjack, we strive for products that provide the best performance possible. Our wheels are meticulously tested, using state-of-the-art machinery, to replicate real-life usage conditions.
The results are of assured maximum resistance, safety, and reliability.
VERTICAL IMPACT TEST
The purpose of the vertical impact test is to evaluate the resistance of the wheel, without a tire, after impacting a load at a given speed.
This type of test makes it possible to assess the impact resistance of the wheel and to establish points of comparison with other products.
This inside simulation will, therefore, serve as a starting point for the expected assessment in a real environment collision.
VERTICAL STATIC STRENGTH TEST
The purpose of the vertical static resistance test is to evaluate the vertical and horizontal, momentary and permanent, deformation of the rim after the application of a given load. Thus, it is possible to assess the level of stiffness/flexibility of the rim/profile under study.
INFLATION TEST
The inflation test aims to evaluate the wheel’s ability to keep the tyre inflated at a certain inflation pressure.
This pressure, under working conditions, may well exceed the maximum tyre pressure, for example, when hitting a pothole.
As such, in addition to the normative test, more demanding tests should be carried out.
