Our athlete Francisco Pardal of BlackJack Factory Racing was present at the first Crankworx event with participation in dual slalom, air downhill, and downhill.
Positive results have culminated in the qualification for the final in the dual slalom and to finish in the 22nd position in the final that was his first test of dual slalom. In the air downhill Francisco ends with a 19th overall and Crankworx downhill with a 17th place just 7 seconds off of New Zealand winner Brook Macdonald.
In the end, Francisco shows his positivity: “It was a fantastic experience here in New Zealand, I trained a lot and I usually did good races. I’m happy with 17th in the downhill, it was my first time competing on this track and my time is close to the fastest riders in the world which is good. I have a positive feeling for the first stage of the World Cup which is already at the end of April. “
