The recommended tension is 120 Kgf, for the higher tension side. On the opposite side, tension should be enough to balance the wheel, hence, minimum value should be 60 Kgf.

 

The higher tension side is:

– The disc side, on front disc wheels;

– The drive side, on rear wheels.

 

On front wheels with rim brake, both sides have the same tension value, except on not symmetrical rims, on which there will be a slight difference.

 

On motor hub wheels, the maximum tension value is 150 Kgf. However, the rims on this type of wheel should be able to endure this load.
